Ta-ku and Repeat Pattern recently released their collaborative photography book NO.SLEEP Nihon—a project that saw them document one of the most vibrant cities in the world, Tokyo, all in the span of 24 sleepless hours. The result is an impressive collection of abstract photos that work beautifully as a complete set and in this video, you can get a first-hand account of the creative process and inspiration of the two skilled photographers. If you were lucky enough to be in Sydney or Melbourne for the launch and book signing events, you might have been able to draw some of this inspo directly from the source but if not, see what they have to say in the video above, alongside some of the images that came out of that magical 24-hour shoot.
