As of today, Apple retail stores will be accepting any of the company’s old products for ‘free and responsible recycling’. And, even better, if your traded-in Apple gadget is in resalable state then you might get a store credit in return.

The move is part of Tim Cook’s declaration to “leave the world better than we found it,” following criticism of the company’s electronic waste contribution.

The initiative will be rolled out across Apple stores worldwide and will even incorporate recycling of products from other manufacturers on specific occasions .
