Possibly the highest quality in technology

The classic trends of the ’80s and ’90s are slowly making a comeback. From double denim to choker necklaces, you can’t escape the fact that even some of our least desired trends are beginning to resurface. One that we definitely are happy about is the comeback of the turntable, and we’re not the only ones who are excited about this.

Despite announcing last year, that Bryston will never design a turntable, the brand too, couldn’t deny the product’s rise in popularity. The audio specialists have decided to join in on the competition and have just dropped their first turntable dubbed BLP-1. Being their first, they wanted to make sure they got it right, and boy it looks like they have. They’ve promised flawless sound quality through their uniquely designed speed stability that will ensure a crisp sounding playback for hours on end.

It’s powered by a specially designed Pulse Width Modulation power system which stops it from overheating whilst allowing it to maintain 33 1/3RPM and 45 RPM.  It also features a 35mm thick Derlin platter which has an integrated record mat, that Bryston says “preserves critical detail” and removes any unwanted noise and vibrations. Apart from the cutting edge technology used to manufacture it, it also has a very slick, simplistic look and feel.

If you want to put your old (or new) records to good use, the BLP-1 is available here for a small fortune of $4,999. But by the sounds of it, you’ll be getting the best quality for the price you pay.
