David Brent is back, funnier than ever and he’s taking on the music industry. The big screen production titled Life On The Road, is set some 15 years on from popular BBC Two show, The Office. Brent is now working as a sales rep for a company called Lavinchem, whilst trying to launch his music career on the side. The trailer features snippets of the lyrical genius singing and explaining the sexual innuendos in his rock song to colleagues that don’t look the slightest bit impressed. But let’s be honest, it’s his inappropriate nature that makes him hilarious.

Ricky Gervais, took to social media saying, ‘just to be clear, I am not making an Office movie, I’m doing a documentary film about David Brent trying to be a rock star’. Which is probably accurate. The film is due to be released on August 19 and you can check out the trailer in the gallery above.
