Admit it, no matter how much you love your job you’ve definitely been overcome by Mondayitis (or something to that effect), secretly hoping some sort of natural disaster would prevent you from having to go into the office. Well, one guy was obviously feeling this way too much when he decided to go to some extreme lengths to get out of work.

Associated Press reports that 22-year-old Kristofer Pregent called in a bomb threat to his workplace in St. Albans, Vermont—a chocolate factory, of all places—because he was sick of his job. It’s alleged that Pregent first told police he received a bomb threat at work, but then admitted he raised the false alarm using a co-worker’s phone and was unhappy at his job, hoping to be fired.

I would have thought working in a chocolate factory would have been a pretty sweet gig but maybe Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory gave us all unrealistic expectations. One can only assume he’s been granted his wish, also managing to cop some charges of false public alarm, petit larceny and unlawful mischief for his trouble.
