If a friend of yours was locked behind bars you’d want to do everything in your power to help them out in their nasty situation, but maybe attempting to fly a drug-packed drone into a Maryland state prison isn’t the greatest idea.

Yes, last weekend two men with silly little brains were found preparing to fly a decent-sized drone filled with tobacco, synthetic marijuana, pornographic DVDs, and prescription narcotics into their mate’s prison. Apparently the police had known about the plan for several weeks by then—the three stooges weren’t as slick as they thought they were, especially the one on the inside.

Both of the men were arrested immediately, one of them was released on bail the following day, with the other mate now being held in Allegany County prison, his bail is set at $100,000. Bummer.

Moral of the story? Never try use a drone to fly things that are illegal into a state prison, that’s just silly, dumbasses. Check out some drone images in the gallery above.
