So we already know that Japan has a hamburger-themed girl group (No? Learn more here) but did you know they also have an all-girl group called NGT48… who are sometimes affectionately referred to as ‘Nugget 48’? Yeah, didn’t think so. But being Japan, it shouldn’t surprise you. The pop group is apparently kind of a big deal in Japan and have been honoured by fast food giant McDonald’s with a 48-PIECE BUCKET OF MCNUGGETS. Now, I know there’s some sort of deal here where you can by, like, 40 nuggets but that’s not 48 and it’s not in one huge bucket and it doesn’t have a kawaii photo of a pop group on it. This stuff isn’t cheap though, with each bucket going for just over $20, but it also includes a commemorative card—although there are 25 commemorative cards, so you’re going to have to down a whole lot of McNuggets to collect them all. Ah well, when in Japan…
