TIME Magazine has released their second annual roundup of the most influential people on the internet, and the results aren’t that surprising actually. The team looked at celebrities’ global impact on social media and their overall ability to drive news to comprise a list of the top 30 most influential people.

Topping the list at number one is no other than Kanye West (shocker). As we all know, the artist/entrepreneur has ‘perfected the art of the twitter spree’, using his voice to spark controversy and conversation about, well, absolutely anything. According to TIME’s list, people actually listen to his provocative comments. A prediction for the 2020 election, perhaps?

DJ Khaled also managed to get his name on the list, coming in at sixth position along with other A-listers like Kim Kardashian, JK Rowling and Donald Trump. Yes, Donald Trump made the list as well. It only took the American producer/DJ/radio personality five months to become ‘a meme in human form’, when he joined Snapchat. It’s all thanks to his motivational snaps and catchphrases along with his inspiring messages that lead to him being crowned the social media’s biggest star.

You can see the full list here.
