In the biggest single player guarantee in Nike’s 44 year history, the apparel giant has just signed Lebron James for the rest of his life. Lebron has already had a long-standing relationship with Nike, after signing a rookie seven-year deal with the brand when he was picked as the No. 1 Draft in 2003.

While it is unknown how much the exact value of the contract is, it is sure to be in the tens of millions of dollars a year. Lebron has already worked with Nike to create 13 of his signature Lebron shoes, with the sales of his line expected to top $400 million this year alone. Not a bad retirement plan, LBJ.
