Even when Mad Max: Fury Road is stripped down to its flesh and bone, it still proves to be one of the most badass films ever created. This in-depth behind the scenes showcases how many of the stunts seen in the film were created and later redefined, with many of the explosions and car rolls actually performed in real life. The emphasis on keeping stunts as realistic as possible is truly a credit to George Miller and his creative team, with the latest reprise of the Mad Max series undoubtedly bound to be revered as one of the greatest action films of our time. Okay, maybe I’m getting a little too excited, but it’s undeniably awesome. If you need further proof, juxtapose all that detailed car stuntwork with San Andreas without special effects in the gallery above. It’s just people wiggling around for a bit and then falling down. For shame, Dwayne “The Rock” Johnston, for shame.
