David Hasselhoff announced that he wants to “drop the Hassel” in his life (don’t we all?) and continue his journey as David Hoff, the most pun-able actor in Hoffywood. That being said, he is currently starring in a sitcom where he plays a fictionalised version of himself, called Hoff the Record… see? More puns. Always puns.

During an interview with The Guardian in June, David Hoff explained that “The Hoff makes more money than Hasselhoff… It’s like a tsunami of Hoff! The Hoff just keeps getting bigger! So I just go where The Hoff goes. Also it’s SO MUCH MORE FUN.”

Decent explanation – also pretty sure that The Guardian’s main aim with that article was to make The Hoff sound like a bigger, better Charlie Sheen. Now I’m just Waiting for David Hoff to go off the rails, announce that he also has #tigerblood and change his first name to “The”.
