There’s no denying the Rihanna vs. Azealia Banks feud was fun while it lasted, but the tiff we’re really looking forward to is between Marion Crane and Mrs Bates.

After the reveal last year at the annual San Diego Comic-Con that our badgal had been cast, the trailer for season 5 of Bates Motel has finally come through. The series acts as a prequel to the events of Alfred Hitchcock’s cult-classic Psycho, and Riri is set to play the famous role of Marion Crane. Albeit, her part is in the teaser is short lived but it’s enough motivation for us to power through the previous 4 seasons—especially when we know there’s an impending shower scene coming up.

It has also been said that her role will be longer in the series than that of the original character, and thankfully so. The OG storyline, where Marion takes 40k from her boss, has something of a BBHMM vibe, so we’re excited to see how it all plays out.
