Twin Peaks is back from the dead, but how did it go down with audiences?

Twin Peaks long-awaited and much hyped return to screens happened last night and as expected the internet lost it’s collective shit.

David Lynch’s beloved ’90s series has been an inspiration since it’s debut, gaining cult classic status over years for it’s bold surrealism which was never really done on television before. Ever since the series return was announced in 2014 the hype has been growing and growing. The first four episodes of the 2017 season debuted on streaming services last night, with the rest of the season to drop weekly. So how did it go down with audiences?
