Tennis just isn’t what it was 30 years ago– where are the excessively aggressive marathon matches? Or the volatile but endearingly earnest star players? (I don’t know anything re: what tennis was like before I was born, comparing this trailer to Roger Federer’s Gillette commercial, wild probably).

Documenting the imaginary longest match in the Golden Age of the sport, HBO’s Seven Days in Hell sees Andy Samberg‘s Aaron Williams return from early retirement after a stint in Swedish prison to go up against Kit Harington‘s Charles Poole, a dense prodigy with an overbearing sports mother (played by Mary Steenburgen).

In the tradition of all great straight-to-TV sport documentaries, real-life legends Serena Williams, John McEnroe and Chris Evert each make an appearance to weigh in on the pairing, with Lena Dunham, Michael Sheen, Fred Armisen and Will Forte rounding out a first-grade cast.

Game, set, match amirite.

Seven Days in Hell airs on HBO on July 11.
