The hugely popular game Angry Birds will soon be expanding on their recent foray into the screen world as they announce their cinematic release. Shooting birds with slingshots seemed a good enough game concept to attract 1.7 billion downloads so why not give the film market a crack?

The animated 3D feature isn’t predicted to hit screens ’til 2016. In the meantime, check out their teaser for the upcoming cartoon series.
