Adi Shankar and Joseph Kahn just took all your Power Rangers memories and threw them in a cement mixer with the Watchmen movie. I’m not even sure what I just watched, but this bootleg shows Power Rangers in a grimy palette thick with arterial sprays and tension.

The film is so far removed from the Power Rangers’ brand that SCG Power Rangers LLC, the people who own the rights to the colourful heroes, are demanding that the video be taken down. Adi Shankar however is having none of that and is keeping the cocaine and threesome tinged version up until he receives a cease and desist.

Shankar also made a video on why he bootlegged the Power Rangers. It’s full of eye-makeup eccentricities and his thoughts on why Orlando Bloom would have been better to play the pink Power Ranger. You can see that one above too.
