But before I get too cynical and hate-filled because I’m dead inside, it’s important to remember that there’s some substance behind all the hype. This clip of the renegade author shooting guns and drinking whiskey in Upstate New York with Conan O’Brien is a reminder of the kind of character that is possible of conceiving twisted gems like ‘Fear and Loathing in Los Vegas’ – and we should be grateful for that. Well that and the fact student poster industry would pretty much be solely reliant on Che Guevara if Thompson hadn’t risen to prominence.
