Skate legend Lance Mountain and artist Craig Stecyk have made reality of many a skater’s idealistic conversation about making the Nike Air Jordan 1 into a skate shoe, and they seem pretty stoked on it.

The shoe they’ve come up with sports a black, white, and iridescent colour-way and Sneaker News seems to think that there might be available a white shoe that sheds layers through wear and tear to reveal a more colourful undercoat. From what I remember from primary school crayon layering this always resulted in a ‘starry night’ feel which would probably look similar to the iridescent shoe on offer.

The SB Air Jordan 1 hit American store on March 15 which of course means you can now find them on eBay for up to $420
