Jordan Belfort is a white collar criminal who was convicted in the nineties for fraud, stock market robbery, corruption and swindling investors to the amount of $100 million. For his crimes he got the incarcerated equivalent of a slap on the wrist, serving 22 months in jail, penned two novels, has been a public speaker since his release and now has Leonardo DiCaprio playing him in a movie. Life’s a bitch huh.
The Wolf Of Wall Street is a new movie directed by Martin Scorsese, based on the auto-biography of Jordan Belfort of the same name and featuring Leonardo DiCaprio, Jonah Hill, Joanna Lumley, Spike Jonze, Jon Favreau and Matthew McConaughey. Detailing the flashy life of this white collar criminal pre-jail, he already has my vote for MTV Movie awards best villain.
