You have to give credit where credit is due–Anthony Mundine is one of the best athletes to come out of Australia. However, in a move that can be described as bizarre, at absolute best, Mundine published a open letter challenging none other than Floyd Mayweather to be his last opponent on September 12. The open letter, first published here takes the form of an emoji filled, bizarre rant in which Mundine describes himself as the “best 2 sport champion ever”.

The first sentence pretty much spells out the mood of the whole letter.

“My name is Anthony “The Man” Mundine! I am the uncrowned best athlete of all time! (check my resume)”.

The grand statements do not stop there however.

“I believe when I’m mentally on, I can beat anybody!  I’m charismatic, flamboyant, artistic, explosive athlete & fighter!”

Mundine seems to have totally ignored the fact that in past instances, Mayweather has said that he is only considering two rivals for his last fight–Karim Mayfield and Andre Berto.

“I’m the mandatory and that should looked at. I’ve got other attributes that none of these cats got!”

Whether Mayweather will respond to “the wonder from down under & the only one that can solve the mayvinchi code,” or if he even knows who he is, remains to be seen. What is a definite though, is that whatever comes out of this will be a interesting read, to say the least.
