It’s wet out there guys, and if you’ve been keeping an eye on the radar, or the internet, it might get a little windy as well. Just after 2pm, the Bureau of Meteorology have issued a severe weather warning for Melbourne which warns us of destructive wind, heavy rainfall, large hailstones, and tornadoes. Oh, what was that last thing? Yeah, in case you missed it, they repeat in all caps for you: THIS INCLUDES A TORNADO WARNING.

According to the Bureau, there have been “several reports of Tornadoes from Craigeburn, Campbellfied and Tullamarine area.” It does look like the worst of it will just miss actual Melbourne city but we’re definitely already seeing the effects of it.

Be safe out there, mates. The next update is due at 3pm, so be sure to check back with BoM for more.
