While the initial look at Alexander Wang’s collaborative collection with retail giant H&M has left crowds a little polarised, the pairing have released an interactive film to showcase the range in its full detail.

Backed by an original Diplo beat (which is bangin’ btw), the fashion film takes you on a first-person, N64 GoldenEye-type adventure through a dank concrete course and ensuing blizzard. Hitting the handy ‘Explore’ button then gets you (really) up close and personal to the models – Raquel Zimmerman, Joan Smalls, Natasha Poly and Isabeli Fontana – obviously so you can inspect the subtle details of all the designs because that is what we actually want to get a closer look at. The film also features a cameo by Alexander Wang himself and English/West Ham United footballer Andy Carroll.

Speaking on the project, the designer said, “We wanted to find a way of representing those performance-wear functionalities in the film by putting our cast in extreme conditions and by making it appear easy and graceful for them to take on something that seems like a challenge.” That CGI probably helps a little too.

The Alexander Wang x H&M collection is set to drop on November 6.
