Just months after drastically expanding their emoji catalogue to become more racially and gender-inclusive, Apple have announced a new package of 38 emojis set to land on your phone this time next year. Adding new food to your keyboard and rounding out gender sets for the Dancing Girl and Princess emojis, the new set also crams in a bunch of #topical emojis which are #ontrend for the #youth of #2015–’selfie,’ ‘face-palm,’ ‘Fist bump’ and ‘ROFL’ icons will all be available in the near future. It’s going to take a little while for the stylised versions of the package to be developed, but at this point we definitely have our favourites picked out, here nine of the best on the list.
