Ever dreamed of turning an everyday mini fridge into a fully functioning replica of your favourite childhood gaming console? Yeah, us too. Which is why Daniel d’Entremont’s upscaled Gameboy replica fridge excited us so much.

The young college student added a PC monitor, a Raspberry Pi 2, a few functioning wooden buttons, and an emulator to his dorm room mini-fridge, which allows him to play actual Gameboy games IRL. Once he’s sweated up a thirst playing Kirby’s Dream Land and Super Mario Land, a frosty beverage is just an opened door away. Genius.

Watch a video of Daniel explaining his creation in the gallery above, and let your inner 90s child-gamer weep nostalgic tears of joy.
