Jenny has come a long way from the block. Sitting down with Complex magazine for their February/March 2015 issue cover story, Jennifer Lopez talks about her expansive career and dealing with the personal BS in the public eye. Keeping things relatively frank, J.Lo reveals her stance on keeping things sexy – including in her new film, erotic thriller The Boy Next Door – being an old-school romantic and dealing with low self-esteem in Hollywood.

On the backlash to her music video for “Booty,” Jennifer has a (posi) message for the haters: “I’m not allowed to be sexy because I’m a mom? It’s like, How do you think I got my children? [Laughs.]…Again, it’s about what feels good to me in this moment. It felt right. It’s a good message for women. I’m standing next to this girl who is 24 years old and I’m in my 40s and there’s no difference. Women need to see that and feel that. You can’t let the fear of what people might say or think stop you from doing what you want to do or else we would never do anything.”

And she’s looking just as good as she feels right now. The accompanying photos for the editorial are absolute fire and proves that she really does have it all going on. Take a look at some of the images above and check out the full interview and photoshoot here.
