I probably wouldn’t have been so averse to watching Predator as a kid if it was an animated movie because evidently, anything is cutesy in manga form, even frightening killer alien things, and other similar action/horror movie characters. In the latest ‘artists takes on pop culture’ series, Japanese illustrator Matsuda Yuusuke puts the kawaii spin on some of our favourite movie monsters and, as a result, turns them into (kind of) adorable characters, as opposed to the things nightmares are made of.
