Only in Japan could phone bling translate to giant crustacean carcass. Engadget Japan modelled an iPhone case around an isopod that died earlier this year at the Toba Aquarium in Japan. The creature apparently died after not eating for five years. And because that’s not weird enough in itself, the Japanese company have gone and created a gold and silver model of the beloved crustacean for your iPhone. The silver one will put you back $80, while the gold will cost you $120. Unfortunately, it seems the case has only been available for sale at Niconico Chokaigi3 in Japan. Check it out above.
