Fans of Back to the Future have been waiting for this day for a long time. Or at least, since Lego announced they would be doing a Back to the Future branded design. The box set, containing a detailed Lego version of the Delorean and Marty McFly and ‘Doc’ Brown in Lego-man form, is set to be released on August 1. The replica time machine has number plates from both 1985 and 2015, and can be converted into three designs from the trilogy. The idea was submitted by a fan via Lego’s crowd-supported CuuSoo platform and commissioned after it received 10,000 votes. The limited-edition Back to the Future: Time Machine will be available at select Lego retailers. Considering how “limited-edition” it is, you might need a real time machine to get your hands on one.
