Gone are the days when McDonald’s meant only getting burgers wrapped up in some waxed paper and thrown into a moist paper bag with some cold fries.

Now Australia has the new Create Your Taste gimmick, where you get fries in a basket and a burger on a wooden board, but a McDonald’s store in Roppongi Hills, Japan, is upping the fancy stakes by running a full-on dining experience created with McDonald’s products.

The dishes on offer include a platter of different burger patties, an open burger intended to be eaten with a knife and fork, and a dish of vichyssoise soup made from french fries served with a vegetable gelatine.

Called Restaurant M the dining experience will be extremely limited, serving just 10 groups of 20 customers, who have to enter a selection through McDonald’s Japan.

Let’s see you out do this one Macca’s Australia.
