There are still a lot of things I’m trying to understand about the iPhone 5c model, including the design of that weird rubber casing with all the holes in it. And while I don’t think it will ever be ‘cool’, a couple of Australian developers have managed to make it a little bit cooler via game/app Flipcase.

What started out as a jestful tweet, has now become a real thing, dropping via the App Store yesterday.

Dave McKinney and Stuart Hall invented the app, based on everyone’s favourite childhood (or current day) game, Connect Four, which makes use of the case by putting it on the screen to create the iconic gameboard. The game can be played on any iPhone 5 model and obviously you’ll need to get your hands on one of these cases. The app itself is free (yay!).
