Oakley is celebrating creativity in skate culture with the launch of Oakley in Residence in Sydney next month. Following similar events in Los Angeles and London, the Sydney hub will take place from November 5 to 29 in Surry Hills, and incorporates a pop-up skate park and creative space where the crew will be holding free workshops, exhibitions, panel discussions and screenings.

If you’re in the area, you should definitely get down there to take advantage of the program, which has been specially-curated by Oakley skaters Eric Koston, Sean Malto, and Curren Caples, who will all be making the trip down under for the event. Everything will be a celebration of the unique Sydney skate scene, with a photography exhibition featuring Atiba Jefferson, Mike O’Meally and Andrew Peters, and art by Anthony Lister and Brett Chan.

The project has also teamed up with local non-profit organisations to help bring these opportunities to the youth and wider community. It’s definitely going to be an ideal way to start the summer.

Take a look at some of the action from the last LA event in the gallery above and head to Oakley for more event info.
