It’s a sad reality that sex sells in the fruit game, you either put out or you get left on the shelf. So it really comes as no surprise that someone has decided to give their peaches a head-start by dressing them in tiny pairs of lacy panties.

In a groundbreaking fusion of strangely adorable and really, really creepy, peaches clad in saucy underwear are popping up in green-grocers all over China as novelty gifts for Qixi Festival, the Chinese equivalent of Valentines day, um sure…any excuse right?

The China News reports that the concept first emerged at a fruit-vender’s in Nanjing with “each pair of underwear slipped on each sexy butt by hand.” With that considered, it’s little wonder that a tray of 9 will set you back around 80 USD. But really friend, if theses peaches are in any way attractive to you, please go and get a glass of water, manage that thirst.
