In one of the best promotional moves leading up to the Anchorman 2 movie release, Ron Burgundy – the actual scotch loving, jazz flute playing, news reading character – has guest anchored for the local news in Bismarck, North Dakota. Actor Will Ferrell, in full Ron Burgundy get-up, dropped by the KX News studios to help announce the news. Props to the rest of the Bismarck news team, who managed to keep a relatively straight face throughout the broadcast.
