With the upsetting news of Sir Richard Attenborough passing away over the weekend, it’s touching to hear that the actor’s legacy will be honoured in the sequel, Jurassic World. Director Colin Trevorrow tweeted this photo of a memorial statue to John Hammond – a photo that’s undeniably taken from the set of the upcoming film. The character of John Hammond in the original 1993 film, Jurassic Park, was one of Attenborough’s best known roles, and fans of the actor will no doubt feel a little tearful upon seeing it on the big screen when Jurassic World is released next year.
