TOKiMONSTA‘s connections with Los Angeles run deep. She grew up in Torrance, studied in the neighbouring Orange County, and released her first album on Brainfeeder Beats (the label of fellow LA resident Flying Lotus). It’s probably no surprise that along the way, her relationship with the city has grown to reflect both her personal tastes and the unique quality of LA life.
