A while back, Ta-ku and his esteemed collaborator Repeat Pattern were chatting about their future trip to Tokyo and realised they would only have 24 hours of free time. Musing on how to hang out, and spend as much time as possible exploring Tokyo during those hours, they came up with No.Sleep. A project during which the two ardent photographers spend 24 hours in a city and capture a sample of its culture.

Their Nihon trip was in November last year and has now been released by the good folks from CAPSULE as No.Sleep Nihon. To celebrate the release, CAPSULE will be hosting a photography session with Ta-ku and Repeat Pattern that will begin at their Sydney store, and expand throughout the rest of the city. The two will be sharing their knowledge and creative process over the duration of the day, and want you to be there for it. For your chance to win an invitation to the session, all you need to do is follow these steps:

1. Pre-order a copy of NO.SLEEP NIHON fromĀ www.capsulestore.com.au

2. Upload one of your own photographs to Instagram that you feel captures a part of the cycle of daily life

3. Tag @capsule_store and @nosleepproject

4. Hashtag #nosleepproject

Entries will close on August 9 with the top five photographs being picked by Ta-Ku and Repeat Pattern. Winners will be announced shortly afterwards.
