Talk about life imitating art – the guy who won a Breaking Bad private screening competition has been arrested on numerous charges, including running a drug distribution operation. 28-year-old Ryan Lee Carroll was a big enough fan to enter and win a contest to watch the final episode of the series with the actual cast of Breaking Bad. Obviously he was paying very close attention to the storyline and allegedly started his own lab, manufacturing synthetic marijuana, of which cops seized about $1million worth from his property, among other paraphernalia.

Ironically, when interviewed at the time of the finale, he said of the show, “It’s highly addicting, just like the meth they make.” Hello, red flag. You would have thought after seeing how the series ended, dude would have understood that there is no happy ending to cooking your own anything illegal. Better call Saul.
