Last week, E3 threatened to break the internet with the influx of news about cutting edge tech, amazing new games, and enough teasers and hype to satiate us until next year’s E3. But as much fun as it is looking forward, sometimes there’s nothing better than dusting off old cartridges and trying to clock your time trial record on Mario Kart 64. Unfortunately, nostalgia often outlives cheap circuitry and frail plastic and as a consequence, you might wind up nursing a busted console and a shattered heart. Don’t worry though, there’s still lots of ways to relive yesteryear. If you own physical copies of the retro games you want to play (that you can’t buy digitally via the publisher’s current console), then emulation is a viable option! Check the instructions above.
