Despite their on-again-off-again relationship, it looks like outgoing US president Barack Obama and potential 2020 candidate Kanye West are still bros. Obama kind of pulled a Kanye at the DNC fundraiser overnight, giving him some valuable tips on his possible run for office in 2020. In a speech to the 1300-strong event, and prior to West’s musical performance there, the POTUS warned him of “strange characters who behave like they’re on a reality show”, and that you can’t tell people “you have a beautiful dark twisted fantasy”. Relevant. He even went a little Kanye himself, saying “Love you too!”, in reply to an eager audience member.

“Do you really think this country is going to elect a black guy from the south side of Chicago with a funny name to be president of the United States? That is crazy… that’s cray.”

Not sure if this is a full-blown endorsement but it sounds like Yeezy is already well-prepared to transition to ‘Peezy’ – watch Obama’s full speech via CNN here.
