It’s long been rumoured that an OutKast biopic is on the cards, but over the years nothing’s actually materialised. However that’s all about to change, with Big Boi, one half of the infamous hip-hop duo, disclosing in a recent interview with HipHopDX that a biopic is in fact on the way. According to Big Boi, “Me and (Andre 3000) just spoke about it last week when I was in New York. I think he might have been taking a couple of meetings talking to people and then I got a couple of people in mind that I’ma talk to…so yeah all that’s coming and we just know it’s time to do it. It’s coming!” He also hinted that he might tap one of his sons to play him in the film, following in the steps of Ice Cube whose son played him in Straight Outta Compton, and gave some details about his forthcoming album Boomiverse.
