In the first instalment of our Case Study series, we sat down with French DJ/producer Brodinski to talk about his on-tour travel essentials. The musician knows a thing or two about tour life, having just completed a massive run of Australian dates thanks to our friends at BBE. As it turns out, he’s a bit of a minimalist, pretty much only carrying his phone and a packet of cigarettes on him at any given time.

Fortunately this leaves plenty of time to discuss his first full length release–Brava, which marks a new start in a career which has seen him co-produce tracks for Kanye West’s Yeezus, found and spearhead the Bromance label collective and work with the likes of Danny Brown and Theophilus London.

Brava showcases the sheer bulk of contacts Brodinski has formed in the US, featuring spots from I LOVE MAKONNEN and Maluca amongst a host of other talent.
