Welp, there you have it. After much publicity and debate, Australian officials have issued singer Chris Brown with a formal notice, refusing him entry into the country on character grounds. Brown’s team will have 28 days to try and overturn the decision, with his 2009 domestic violence case against Rihanna looming largely as the reason behind his denied entry.

Tickets for Brown’s ‘One Hell of A Nite’ tour were set to go on sale tomorrow morning but this will obviously put a spanner in the works for the intended tour, which already faced opposition from the New Zealand government. This obviously isn’t new territory for Brown, having faced the same issues with touring in Canada and the UK in recent years.

There has been no further comment from Chris Brown and his team at this stage but it’s only a matter of time before the social media-heavy singer expresses his views. Stay tuned.
