Flying Lotus follows up last year’s Lover’s Melt mixes with the aptly titled Lover’s Melt 3. Starting off the with soul/summer jams with the likes of Freda Payne and Ann Peebles before floating (or melting, even) into some dub classics – a couple of Lee Scratch Perry tracks – and prog-rock and psychedelic pop. Possibly a taste of the inspirations for his forthcoming album, Until The Quiet Comes, which is set for release on October 3rd.
