Friends, Frank Ocean looks to be gearing up for something. The singer’s latest post on Instagram sees him cooped up in the studio in the process of recording. Finally, some new music may be on the way. Frank made his Instagram account public last month, to the surprise of fans around the world.

The last time we heard a Frank Ocean track was earlier this year, when he dropped his rendition of Audrey Hepburn’s “Moon River”, which followed loose singles such as “Provider”, “Lens”, “Chanel” and “Biking” from 2017. His last album Blonde dropped in 2016. The post, paired with recent features on Travis Scott’s Astroworld (“Carousel”)  and ASAP Rocky’s Testing (“Purity”), suggests he might be preparing for something bigger in the future. However, this is Frank Ocean, so who knows.
