NZ collective Young, Gifted & Broke have just announced their latest compilation, a cassette tape mix (yep, you read right) titled The Grey Tape, to be launched this week at two shows in Sydney and Melbourne. Featuring tracks from Home Brew, @Peace, Christoph El Truento, Haz Beats, Sides Steps Quintet, among a long list of others, this is one compilation you need to get your hands on.

YG&B will be showcasing at Sydney’s Civic Underground on October 25 and The Espy in Melbourne on October 26, featuring performances from Home Brew, Lui T (@Peace), Lucky Lance (Team Dynamite) and more.

Limited edition cassette tapes will be available at the gigs and for those who can’t make it to either show (or left their Walkman in 1994), more conventional digital versions will be available online on from October 25.

We also have a Young Gifted and Broke prize pack up for grabs for our Sydney-Siding readers containing Home Brew merch, a copy of the Grey Tape, Home Brew and @Peace CD’s, and two tickets to the Sydney Show. To be in the running, just drop an email through to comp(at)acclaimmag.com with ‘YGB Tour’ in the subject and  your name, address, and phone number by this Wednesday the 24th*.
