Were you unsure of Jay-Z‘s fine artistic virtue? How about six hours of repeated reassurance to convince you? Jay-Z exhibits himself as classy and contempo at NYC’s Pace gallery where the rapper performed Magna Carta Holy Grail track, Picasso Baby, in a marathon video shoot yesterday.

Following the #newrules, Jay-Z is seen encouraging audience participation in the form of dancing (artistic dancing), appropriate head nodding, and some enthusiastic hand gestures (also artful and gangster), reported to be included in the music video.

The exhibition got a close up nod from performance artist Marina Abramovic, as well as Girls actor Adam Driver who was spotted lurking around in the crowd.
