Top Dawg Entertainment have been on an undeniable roll lately, with the likes of Kendrick and Jay Rock injecting a refreshing dose of gravitas back into west coast hip-hop, as well as a new album from Schoolboy Q just around the corner, which is sure to be fire as anything.

But now this trailblazing label are looking for help from, well, you. Earlier today, TDE posted the following tweet on their official Twitter page, specifically announcing their search for new “creative” and “talented” video producers, directors and screenwriters.

It is an odd direction for the distinctly hip-hop label to go in, but if Schoolboy Q’s latest cinematic visuals suggest anything, it’s that TDE are trying to push their brand and their artists in a direction that goes even further than just the music.

Perhaps this is a strategy to make TDE more than just a record label but an outlet to give its artists a more holistic sense of creativity through audio and visuals, among other platforms.

Regardless, the opportunity to work for these guys would be nothing short of next-level, and even though it’s likely that they’re trying to keep it local, why not give it a shot? If you think you’ve got the chutzpah and the creativity to steer this hip-hop bullet train in the right direction, then just follow the above instructions and say you’re prayers.
