A security guard at Falls Festival made the terrible mistake of not recognising Joey Bada$$ as he was about to go on stage. The 19 year old rapper was about to start his set on Friday night at the festival near Byron Bay when a security guard stopped him to check his credentials. What?! Obviously steeze means nothing anymore. Joey went full bada$$ at that point and clocked the guard right in the nose. Ouch. Note to self: know Joey Bada$$.

Don’t worry though, the police let him finish the show wanted to watch the rest of the show before they arrested him. He appeared in court and was charged with assault occasioning actual bodily harm, and is due to appear in court again in March. For Sydney and Melbourne Bada$$ fans — he is still going to perform. For Sydney and Melbourne security guards — watch out.
