Last winter, Kanye West asked 2×4 Inc. to join forces with his design consortium Donda to imagine a seven-screen movie theater that would immerse an audience in a universe of images and sound.

West’s new short film Cruel Summer was developed in tandem and shot with a special seven-camera rig on location in Doha, Qatar.

The 7-Screen Experience debuted at the 65th Cannes Film Festival and was enclosed in a seventy-foot tall pyramid construction and, as you can witness, it was quite the spectacle. It makes you really wonder 1) Is the Cruel Summer film even any good? 2) How much play money does Mr. West really have? Damn!
