One of the most influential rockstars of all time, Keith Richards has recently declared his hatred for hip-hop, accusing people that listen to it as “tone deaf” and in the same interview labelling Metallica and Black Sabbath, arguable the best two heavy metal bands of all time as “great jokes.”

The 71-year-old rock legend admitted that “What rap did that was impressive was to show there are so many tone-deaf people out there,” going on to say that “All they need is a drum beat and somebody yelling over it and they’re happy.” Richards kind of sounds like Grandpa Simpson when he makes the paper for yelling at a cloud, he then went on to sum up rap as “Rap—so many words, so little said.”

I don’t think this should really shock anyone, just reinstate that Keith is quite out of touch. Read the whole interview here.
